Marshall Hilton grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri and then spent the better part of a decade in Lawrence, Kansas where he studied engineering and architectural design.  His activities in the numerical and spatial realm were balanced by an active interest in photography, as well as music.  His additional interests, community building, living off the land, and heavy metal, frame him with a unique window through which he photographs the world.

Marshall has a strength in candid portraits.  He captures the essence of a person doing what they love to do and the way they celebrate life.
